    Yan-Zhen Zheng was born and raised in Guangdong, China. He received his PhD degree in 2007 under Xiao-Ming Chen (Sun Yat-Sen University) for studying low-dimensional magnetic coordination polymers. Yan-Zhen then moved to Europe with the supports of Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship under Annie Powell (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology) and Marie Curie International Incoming Fellowship under Richard Winpenny (The University of Manchester) for advanced molecular magnetism study. During this period he had a short postdoctoral training for spintronics under Paul Kögerler (Forschungszentrum Jülich and RWTH Aachen University). In 2012, he was appointed as a full professor at Xi'an Jiaotong University, where he started his own adventure in molecular magnetism and functional coordination complexes research. In 2014, he was promoted to an associate dean for Frontier Institute of Science and Technology (FIST) and jointly the lab director of molecular spin and electronic structure (MSES). Currently, the research topics in his group mainly focus on the design and synthesis of single-molecule magnets, functional lanthanide clusters, and electrically-conductive coordination compounds.

 

 

郑彦臻现为西安交通大学教授,《中国稀土学报》、《中国化学快报》、及Polyoxometalates青年编委,Magnetochemistry编委;2007年博士毕业于中山大学,曾入选德国洪堡学者(2007)、欧盟玛丽居里学者(2009)、国家特聘青年专家(2012)、仲英青年学者(2017)、科技部中青年科技创新领军人才(2018),2021年入选国家重大人才工程(领军人才);其主要研究方向是分子基磁性材料及功能配合物,迄今主持或参与包括国家自然科学基金在内的研究课题共十余项,在JACSAngew ChemNat CommunAdv MaterMatterChem等学术期刊发表论文180余篇。

1. From October 6-11, 2019, invited Professor Christian Schröder from Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences, Germany to visit, gave a talk on "Exploring Magnetism at the Nano and Micro Scale with Classical Spin Dynamics Methods" and lectured to students.

2. From September 21-25, 2019, invited Assistant Professor Liviu Ungur from National University of Singapore to visit, gave a talk on "Ab initio description of electronic structure and properties of materials" and lectured to students.

3. In July 2019, was invited to serve as a visiting professor at the University of Bordeaux and the Centre de Recherche sur les Propriétés Physiques des Matériaux (CRPP) in France for one month.

4. From February 27 to March 6, 2019, was invited to visit Professor Nojiri's research group at the Institute for Materials Research, Tohoku University, Japan, to conduct experimental research on high-frequency high-field electron paramagnetic resonance and low-temperature high-field magnetization, and also visited Professor Yamashita's research group at Tohoku University.

5. On April 2, 2018, invited Dr. Nicholas Chilton from The University of Manchester, UK to visit, gave an academic talk titled "f-Elements as a Playground for Magnetic Phenomena" and lectured to students.

6. On March 15, 2018, was invited by Professor Osamu Sato to participate in the "Session for Rising Star in Asia" at the 2018 IMCE International Symposium at Kyushu University, Japan, and gave an invited talk.

11. 2017315-19日受Hiroki Oshio教授邀请前往日本筑波大学做学术报告,并于317日前往在东京领Keio大学举办的97届日本化学年会,领取日本化学会颁与的亚洲国际学术论坛杰出授课奖Distinguish Lectureship Awards in Asian International Symposium)。    

12. 20161017日到1018日,邀请来自德国斯图加特大学的Petr Neugebauer博士来访并作报告,与组内同学交流。    

13. 201644-6日邀请英国曼彻斯特大学的Richard Winpenny教授进行访问,并聘请Winpenny教授为西安交大客座教授。
