Dear Colleagues,

Biomedical measurement and micromanipulation impose demanding performance requirements on modern MEMS sensors, including ultra‑high sensitivity, low noise, compact packaging, excellent biocompatibility, and stable operation in complex physiological liquid environments. Traditional sensing technologies frequently encounter critical limitations when tackling multi‑scale biological targets, ranging from single cells and micro‑tissues to human‑related biomedical scenarios. Driven by innovations in micro‑nanofabrication, novel sensor architecture design, high‑precision readout electronics, and calibration strategies, advanced MEMS sensors have emerged as powerful tools for probing cellular biomechanics, single‑cell manipulation, micro‑tissue characterization, and minimally invasive biomedical detection. This Special Issue welcomes original research papers, communications, and review articles focusing on the design, fabrication, circuit integration, performance calibration, and real‑world biological applications of cutting‑edge MEMS sensors and integrated systems. It covers investigations spanning biomechanical measurement and manipulation at cellular and micro‑tissue levels, all the way to wearable and implantable measurements of human physiological indicators. Relevant contributions on sensor interface, liquid‑environment measurement technology, and biosensing instruments are also highly encouraged. We look forward to receiving your submissions!
