We focus on modeling, testing, fabricating and design for advanced materials and intelligent structures, to develop highly integrated sensors, actuators and other devices for aerospace applications.

Wei XIA, Ph.D

Now is an associate Professor in School of Aerospace Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University.

Dr. Xia’s principal teaching interest and research activity is in the field of aeroelasticity, which studies the interaction between aerodynamic flow and elastic structures.

He also has experience in structural finite element analysis (FEA) and wind tunnel testing.
