Ph.D. in Engineering, Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor at the School of Energy and Power Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University. Selected for the "Xi'an Jiaotong University Young Outstanding Talent Program" and the "K.C. Wong Young Scholar". Primarily engaged in research on ionic liquid compressor technology, novel solution dehumidification air conditioning technology, electrodialysis technology, and semi-solid (solid–liquid two-phase) forming processes and equipment for key complex compressor components. As project leader or core researcher, has undertaken and participated in multiple vertical and horizontal projects, including the National Key R&D Program of China, the NSFC General Program, the NSFC Youth Program, and the Provincial Natural Science Foundation. To date, has published over 40 SCI-indexed papers and been granted 8 national invention patents.

2–4 Master's students are recruited each year. The research team led by Prof. Peng (Professor/Ph.D. Supervisor, New Century Excellent Talent of the Ministry of Education) in our school is fully equipped with software and hardware facilities for the above research.
