He graduated with a dual degree from the Science Experimental Program at Jilin University in 2012; he was subsequently admitted directly to Tsinghua University, where he earned his Ph.D. in 2016; he conducted postdoctoral research at Tsinghua University from 2016 to 2018; and he conducted postdoctoral research at Stockholm University in Sweden from 2018 to 2020. He has published over 60 papers in top-tier academic journals in the field, including Adv. Mater., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Energy Environ. Sci., Nature Commun., Adv. Energy. Mater., ACS Nano, and Adv. Sci., with over 8,000 citations and an H-index of 40. He has served as principal investigator for the Swedish VR Starting Grant and the ÅForsk Grant. He currently serves as a young editorial board member for journals such as *Nano Research Energy* and the *Journal of Energy Chemistry*.
