Dr. Baojun Zhang is the professor in immunology, the dean of Basic Medicine School, Xi’an Jiaotong University, the dean of Institute of Translational Medicine, Western China Science and Technology Innovation Harbor, the member of the Transplantation Immunology Branch of the Chinese Society for Immunology, the director of Xi’an Key Laboratory of Basic and Translational Research on Immune-related Diseases, and the leader of Youth Innovation team in Shaanxi Universities. Prof. Zhang has been recognized by National Thousand Youth Talents Program, Thousand Talent Program and San Qin Scholar of Shaanxi Province, and Distinguished Young Talents Program of Xi’an Jiaotong University. Prof. Zhang found TCB research group in Sep, 2017. The TCB group focus on investigating the regulatory mechanisms of immune cell development and differentiation, and their roles in anti-tumor response, anti-viral infection and autoimmune diseases. So far, more than 60 original papers were published in high-impact journals such as ImmunityJ Clin InvestPNAS, J Immunother Cancer, Sci Adv, Nat Immunol, PLoS Genet, J Immunol, Cell Rep, etc., and have been cited over 1,000 times. Prof. Zhang is serving as a Senior Editorial Board Member of BMC Immunol. Prof. Zhang has participated in the compilation of teaching materials for the 13th Five-year Plan of National Organ-system Integration. The research projects are supported by International (Regional) Cooperation and Exchange NSFC Program, NSFC General Program and several talent programs.
