Essential Information 

Yi-Hua Qian, female, M.D., Ph.D, third class professor of Human Anatomy and Histoembryology, supervisor of Ph.D. 

From December 2001 to March 2002, she went to study in Japan, and she was as a visiting scholar at the University of Kyushu University; From July 2006 to August 2007, she was funded by the Ministry of Education and the Key Teachers of the Ministry of Education to study at the Washington University in St. Louis, the School of Medicine, in the United States; She engaged in academic exchanges in October 2009 at the University of Yangming, Taiwan; She has been trained on Learning Methodologies & EMI for two weeks (from  June 15, 2019 to June 30, 2019) in the University of Adelaide in South Australia. 

 

She was selected as the first "the three-Qin talents" of Shaanxi Province in 2012;

She won the Education award of Wang Kuan-Cheng in 2015;

She was awarded "the award of the Willing Ox " on supervising excellent doctoral dissertation at Xi’an Jiaotong University Health Science Center in 2015; She was awarded the first outstanding teacher of Xi’an Jiaotong University Health Science Center in 2018.

 

She is an experts of peer review of National Natural Science Foundation.

She is a director of Chinese Anatomic Society.

She is avice-president of Shaanxi Anatomic Society.  

She is a committee member of the Neurodegenerative Diseases Branch of the Society of Neuroscience of China.

She is a committee member of the Neurocognitive Professional Branch of the Association for the Prevention and Control of Alzheimer’s Disease.

She is a committee member of Chinese Journal of Anatomy.

She is a committee member of Journal of Xi’an Jiaotong University (Medical Science).

Research Focus Areas

Dr. Qian’s research mainly focuses on the pathogenesis, prevention and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. To elucidate the mechanism of production, deposition and degradation of amyloid protein in AD models, and to explore the prevention and treatment mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine and small molecular substances on AD model animals.

Dr. Qian has been Hosted three National Natural Science Foundation of China, one provincial key project and a number of provincial and municipal scientific research projects. She won the second prize of Science and Technology Progress of Shaanxi Province in 2004, and published more than 100 research papers, including 43 SCI.

Research Projects

1. The regulatory effects of p38MAPK signaling pathway on LRP and α7nACh receptor-mediated internalization of amyloid beta protein.  This project was supported by the Natural Science Foundation of China (No. 81071035).

2. The regulation of JNK/ERK1/2 signal transduction pathway on the receptor-mediated internalization of beta amyloid protein and its mechanism. This project was supported by the Natural Science Foundation of China ( No. 81571251).

 

3.Research on physical anthropology of Han nationality. This project was supported by the Natural Science Foundation of China (No.30830062).

4. The regulatory mechanism of Tβ4 on relieving neuroinflammation induced by beta amyloid protein  target NF-κB signaling molecule, Basic Research Plan of Natural Science in Shaanxi Province-key projects（2019JZ-21）

5. The study of the relation of Alzheimer's disease and polymorphism of p35 gene on Han nationality of China. This project was supported by the Grant from Shaanxi Province (2005K13-G2)

6. The mechanism of the dipsacus asper inhibiting the deposition of amyloid protein in dementia

model rats.

7.Experimental study on the mechanism of the total saponin of dipsacus asper in the cellular

model of Alzheimer’s disease.

8. Experimental study on the treatment and preventing of tanshinones in model of Alzheimer’s

disease.
