魏恒嘉，西安交通大学数学与统计学院教授、博导。2014年获得浙江大学数学学院理学博士学位，博士导师为葛根年教授。先后在首都师范大学、新加坡南洋理工大学、以色列本古里安大学从事博士后研究工作，合作导师包括 Profs. Yeow Meng Chee, Han Mao Kiah, San Ling, and Moshe Schwartz。曾获国际组合数学及应用协会（Institute of Combinatorics and its Applications）颁发的2017年度 Kirkman 奖。入选2021年度国家高层次青年人才项目。入选西安交通大学“青年拔尖人才支持计划”教授A类。

研究方向为组合数学和编码理论，涉及DNA存储、网络编码、网络信息论等前沿领域。在信息论与编码理论旗舰期刊 IEEE Transactions on Information Theory、理论计算机科学顶级会议、期刊 ACM-SIAM Symposium on Discrete Algorithms、SIAM Journal on Computing上发表论文十余篇。

I am currently a Professor in the School of Mathematics and Statistics at Xi'an Jiaotong University. I received my Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Zhejiang University in 2014, under the supervision of ProfessorGennian Ge.  From 2014 to 2022, I held postdoctoral and research positions at the School of Mathematical Sciences at Capital Normal University, the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences at Nanyang Technological University, and the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where I worked with Profs. Yeow Meng Chee, Han Mao Kiah, San Ling, and Moshe Schwartz. From 2022 to 2025, I was an Associate Researcher at Peng Cheng Laboratory. My Erdős number is 2, as established through the coauthored papers by Paul Erdős and Charles Colbourn, and by Charles Colbourn and Hengjia Wei.

Research interests：Combinatorial Designs, Extremal Combinatorics, Coding Theory
