Hong-Bao Li

Dr Hong-bao Li is an associate professor in the Department of Physiology and Pathophysiology at the Xi'an Jiaotong University. He earned his MS in Physiology from Lanzhou University and PhD from Xi'an Jiaotong University under the mentorship of Dr Yu-ming Kang. He completed her postdoctoral training at University of Florida College of Medicine in Dr Mohan K. Raizada’s lab. His research interest is the interaction between host and gut microbiota in the context of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. A total of 36 SCI papers have been published, among which 12 have been published by the first author/corresponding author in Hypertension, Gut Microbes, Molecular Nutrition & Food Research and other international well-known academic journals. He hopes to continue his research that connects fundamental sciences to clinical findings.
