Guoxi Luo was born in Suining, China, in 1987. He received Ph.D. degree in Instrument Science and Technology in 2016, from Chongqing University, Chongqing, China. He was a joint cultivation PhD student during Nov. 2013 to Dec. 2015 at Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of California at Berkeley, sponsored by Chinese Scholarship Concil (CSC). From Oct. 2016, he joined the School of Mechanical Engineering, Xi’an Jiaotong University, as a faculty.
He is mainly engaged in MEMS/NEMS processing, intelligent sensing, flexible electronics, human-computer interaction and other fields, and has formed his own characteristics in electrospinning technology, flexible sensing, micro/nano energy and other directions. In recent years, as the project leader, he has presided over more than 10 scientific research projects such as National Key R & D plan project, General Project of NSFC, Youth Project of NSFC, Youth Academic Backbone Cultivation project of Xi'an Jiaotong University. He has published more than 30 SCI papers, with citation of more than 300 times. And he has applied for more than 20 national invention patents.
