Personal Profile
Wen-Tao Xu is a Professor at the School of Physics, Xi’an Jiaotong University. His research focuses on quantum many-body theory, condensed matter theory, and quantum information, with particular interests in topological phases of matter, generalized symmetries, quantum entanglement, and tensor network methods. His recent work aims to develop nonlocal characterizations of topological phases and phase transitions, including problems related to topological order, symmetry-protected topological phases, lattice gauge theories, nonlocal order parameters, and entanglement structures. His research has been published in journals including PRX, PRL, PRR, npj Quantum Information, and PRB.
