Research Interests: Cybersecurity and Privacy, Big Data Analysis of Internet of Vehicles, Blockchain.
"Security" mainly addresses two important aspects of issues:
- The security of network infrastructure (such as routing links, DNS).
- The security of people within the network (such as urban counter-terrorism based on big data analysis of the Internet of Vehicles).
"Privacy" mainly focuses on classic privacy protection measures:
- Discover privacy vulnerabilities in classic measures. For example, SSH encrypted proxies, VPNs, etc. have been proven unable to fully protect privacy.
- Study the corresponding reinforcement methods, develop and deploy practical systems, and ultimately prevent users' privacy from being illegally eavesdropped.
Specifically, it involves:
Network attack and defense (such as botnet detection, DDoS attack defense against infrastructure);
Privacy analysis and protection (such as website fingerprinting defense, anonymous networks, location privacy of mobile phones);
Big data security monitoring of the Internet of Vehicles (such as analysis of safe driving behaviors, urban counter-terrorism strategies based on big data analysis of the Internet of Vehicles), etc.
Research Philosophy: Drive innovative research with practical problems and cultivate students' passion for scientific research through innovative research!
