Biomarkers:
My research focuses on the identification and validation of biomarkers for early diagnosis and treatment of Cancers or other diseases based on proteomic and genomic analyses. Also investigated the candidate molecules function by cell biology and early diagnosis and treatment of Cancers or other diseases based on proteomic and molecular biology techniques.
Psychological Stress & disease:
My research also focuses on the effects of the early-life psychological stress on learning and memory pattern of hippocampus in adult mice. We also found the mental stress can result in reproductive dysfunction in adult male rats, including the sharp decrease of sperm quality and quantity. We try to uncover the molecular mechanism of this stress effect via behavioral, physiological, proteomic, genomic and epigenetic approaches.
Mechanisms of Tumorigenesis:
Investigate the mechanisms by which key signaling pathways regulating cell proliferation, apoptosis, and differentiation contribute to tumor invasion and metastasis. Elucidate the drivers and molecular basis of cellular transformation into cancer from a genomic perspective. Screen biomarkers associated with tumor initiation and progression, and develop novel technologies and methods for clinical diagnosis.
