Prof. Yang Sen, a Second-level Professor and Executive Vice Dean of the Qian Xuesen Academy, also serves as a Ph.D. Supervisor. He is a National Leading Talent and a recipient of the National Outstanding Youth Science Fund. Additionally, he leads the Science and Technology Innovation Team of Shaanxi Province and is a standing member of the Functional Materials Division of the China Instrument and Control Society.
Prof. Yang’s research primarily focuses on ferromagnetic intelligent materials, magnetism and magnetic materials, and nanofunctional materials. He has led two projects under the National Key R&D Program, seven projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, and eight provincial and ministerial-level projects.
He has been awarded the Second Prize of the National Natural Science Award, two First Prizes of the Ministry of Education Natural Science Award, one Second Prize of the Shaanxi Science and Technology Award, two First Prizes of the Shaanxi Higher Education Science and Technology Award, the First Prize of the Metallurgical Youth Science and Technology Award by the Chinese Society for Metals, and the Shaanxi Youth Science and Technology Award.
Prof. Yang holds 12 national invention patents and has published over 200 papers in internationally renowned journals, including Nature Materials, Physical Review Letters, and Journal of the American Chemical Society (JACS), with more than 6,000 citations.
