Associate Professor (PhD supervisor). He earned his PhD from the School of Architecture, Harbin Institute of Technology. At present, he is engaged in teaching and research at the Department of Architecture, School of Human Settlements and Civil Engineering, Xi’an Jiaotong University. His research interests cover thermal comfort and human health, nearly zero-carbon buildings, urban heat island effect and corresponding mitigation measures.

In terms of teaching, he teaches core courses including Building Physics, Sponge City Design and Urban Environment and Urban Ecology.

In terms of academic outputs, he has published more than 80 academic papers, 79 of which are indexed in SCI journals. He has obtained 10 patents and 10 software copyrights.

In terms of research projects, he has presided over the following projects: 1 project for Solar Decathlon China 2021, 1 Youth Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 2 projects supported by the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, 2 Natural Science Foundation projects of Shaanxi Province, and 1 Foreign Expert Project of the Belt and Road Innovative Talent Exchange Program.
