Fei Wang, earned his doctoral degree in Mathematics at Zhejiang University in 2010. Then he joined the faculty at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. From Jan 2012 to May 2013, Dr. Wang was a visiting assistant professor at University of Iowa, and worked as Research Associate at Penn State University from May 2013 to June 2016. Wang is awarded “Young Talent Support Plan” by Xi’an Jiaotong University in Sep 2015, and has been working as distinguished research fellow at Xi’an Jiaotong University since July 2016. Fei’s research interests are about numerical analysis and scientific computing in general. Topics include finite element methods, discontinuous Galerkin methods, numerical methods for variational inequalities, a posteriori error analysis and adaptive algorithm, extended finite element method, interface problems and multi-physics problems.
