Biography

Zhenhua An is a Professor at Xi'an Jiaotong University. His research focuses on the clean combustion of carbon-free fuels and the numerical modeling of multiphase combustion. He has made influential contributions to the clean utilization of hydrogen and ammonia in power systems, particularly in combustion stabilization, detailed-chemistry-based simulation, and liquid ammonia combustion for gas turbine applications. He was awarded a JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship and was selected for China's 2025 national young talent program under the Overseas High-Level Talent Recruitment Plan. He has published more than 40 journal papers, with over 1,000 Scopus citations and an h-index of 15.
