About Pengchen

     马鹏琛,副教授,博士/硕士研究生导师。2020年博士毕业于中国科学院化学研究所,师从陈辉研究员。2021年9月至2023年9月,在美国加州大学洛杉矶分校(UCLA)从事博士后研究,合作导师K. N. Houk院士。围绕多尺度机理解析,开展酶催化与3d过渡金属催化反应的理论与计算研究与理性设计,重点揭示自旋态电子结构与微环境调控机制,致力于新酶和催化剂的改造与从头设计。主持国家自然科学基金、省部级项目及西安交通大学创新基金等多个科研项目。以第一作者或计算合作作者的身份,在 NatureScienceNat. Catal.Nat. Chem.J. Am. Chem. Soc.Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.ACS Cent. Sci.Nat. Commun.Chem. Sci.ACS Catal.Org. Lett. 等国际知名SCI期刊发表论文。

 

Pengchen Ma is an Associate Professor and Ph.D./M.S. Supervisor. She received her Ph.D. in 2020 from the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, under the supervision of Prof. Hui Chen. From September 2021 to September 2023, she conducted postdoctoral research at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with Prof. K. N. Houk. Her research focuses on multiscale, mechanism-driven theoretical and computational studies and rational design of enzymatic catalysis and 3d transition metal–catalyzed reactions. In particular, her work aims to elucidate how spin-state–dependent electronic structures and microenvironmental effects govern reaction mechanisms and selectivity. She has led multiple research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), provincial-level programs, and Xi’an Jiaotong University initiatives. As first author or computational collaborator, she has published in leading international journals, including Nature, Science, Nature Catalysis, Nature Chemistry, Journal of the American Chemical Society, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, ACS Central Science, Nature Communications, Chemical Science, ACS Catalysis, and Organic Letters.
