Prof. Chun-Ran Chang was born in May 1986, Shandong Province. He received his Ph.D. degree from Tsinghua University in 2013 under the supervision of Prof. Jun Li. He is now a doctoral tutor in chemical engineering and a member of Chinese Chemical Society (CCS). He has presented five projects sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than 80 peer-reviewed papers with total citations more than 11000 and an H-index of 45. His research aims to develop advanced catalytic materials and elucidate catalytic reaction mechanisms for the efficient conversion of carbon- and hydrogen-based resources. Current interests include the production of value-added chemicals from coal, natural gas and shale gas upgrading, carbon dioxide utilization, and the development of green catalytic technologies for sustainable energy systems. Prof. Chun-Ran Chang has led multiple research projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the National Key Research and Development Program of China, and industrial partners. He has published more than 100 papers in leading international journals, including Nat. Catal., Nat. Nanotechnol., Nat. Commun., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew.Chem. Int. Ed.,and AIChE J. In addition to his research activities, Prof. Chun-Ran Chang serves in editorial and professional leadership roles within the catalysis and energy communities. He is Associate Editor of Frontiers in Catalysis, a member of the Editorial Board of Chinese Chemical Letters.
